Around ten years old my neighbor, affectionately known as “Rock Man” gave me a rock. It was dull and undoubtedly not the most memorable rock in Rock Man’s hand. Moments later, Rock Man (who I later learned was a geologist) cracked open the rock to reveal beautiful crystals.
A geode can be deceiving because its true beauty is within its center.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people who, by life’s circumstances, trauma, and mental health difficulties, have forgotten that their true beauty lies within.
My goal is to help uncrack the outer layer that often shields the beauty inside women. Although my practice focuses on serving women, I desire to help any teen or adult heal.
